Joanna Sweeting
Dr Jo Sweeting is an early career post-doctoral researcher in the Clinical Genomics Laboratory. Her PhD focused on physical activity behaviours in individuals with genetic heart disease and was conferred in 2018. Her current research focuses on the use of routinely collected, linked health data to answer important questions in the field of genetic heart disease and sudden cardiac arrest. She is passionate about using linked data to help provide evidence regarding the incidence of sudden cardiac arrest and to highlight avenues for potential to improve outcomes following a sudden cardiac arrest, or prevent its occurrence entirely. Jo brings a unique skill set and experience to the team.
