John Reeves
As Bioinformatics Education Officer, John Reeves is aiming to provide experimental biologists with the computational skills necessary to interrogate increasingly complex datasets, thereby enabling deeper collaborations with expert bioinformaticians. At the same, John is working to foster a community of bioinformatics practitioners at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, in order to facilitate peer-to-peer learning.
Before coming to Garvan, John had a diverse career including teaching, technical translation and designing automation software for large-scale aquaponics.
